About Jolene
Hi. I’m Jolene Jang, aka the Fun Specialist. I founded The Meeting Maximizer in 1996 (formerly the Fun Specialist).
I take average, dull meetings and turn them into events where people are engaged, paying attention and interacting. With a unique skill set from event planning, marketing and entertainment, I prevent boring meetings from becoming snoring meetings, and I excel at bringing diverse groups together.
Since 1996 I’ve worked with small companies, medium sized companies, and Fortune 500 companies including Hewlett Packard, State Farm and Microsoft. And I’ve seen it all. The good, the bad and the ugly. Unfortunately, most meetings and events are more bad and ugly than any of us would like.
After attending thousands of meetings, mostly bad, I’ve developed unique ways to effectively communicate successful Meeting Maximizer techniques to boost attendance, increase participation and achieve positive, lasting results. Yes. You too can achieve Meeting Maximization with our tools and guidance.
According to Meeting Professionals International, there are more than 11 Million meetings held per day in the USA alone. The Meeting Maximizer’s goal, and my personal mission is to improve as many of these meetings as possible. By providing tools and educational materials online and in person, The Meeting Maximizer assists executives, leaders, managers, event planners, meeting planners, board members, association executives and others who regular run meetings and events.

At six, Jolene was trained on the basics of accounting. At 11 years old, she began using a Daytimer calendaring system. And so the life of a planner began.
Jolene Jang currently resides in Seattle, WA most of the time, but really enjoys travelling the world to explore new places, meet new people, and experience different customs, foods, and cultures. She is always searching for fresh solutions and innovative answers to assist her fans and clients.
When not traveling, Jolene enjoys being fun, creating and sharing videos, and learning about anything and everything she can experience first hand. She has been accurately described by friends and colleagues as a “Tornado of Fun.”
Jolene has a rich history as a performer, emcee, event facilitator and team building mentor before becoming The Fun Specialist and founder of The Meeting Maximizer.
