History

  • 1996 – Beginning of The Fun Specialist, the predecessor to The Meeting Maximizer providing entertainment services and emceeing
  • 1999 – Added corporate entertainment and team building events to private events. Began focusing on corporate clients and bringing fun into the workplace
  • 2001 – International Special Events Society, Founding Board member, Three term program chair
  • 2001 – Jolene Jang began working full time on corporate meeting and event planning, facilitating, emceeing and team building.
  • 2002 -Jolene Jang joined the National Speakers Association to refine her speaking and stage talents.
  • 2008-2011 -Jolene Jang became president of the National Speakers Association, NSA Northwest, the Washington State Chapter for three consecutive years. During this time, she gained additional experience about the standard operating procedures required to conduct successful events and the business operations behind them. Jolene also realized the importance of the science of creating an environment conducive to creating interaction as a means to prevent and cure bad meetings and events.
