Streamline Meetings

For increased impact and satisfied attendees

Like Superman stamps outs evil, a dietician takes out the fat, tinyurl.com shortens web addresses, you can eliminate the lag time at meetings. We see Mr. Lag sneaking around every corner and popping up in between announcements and throughout the meeting. He is a drag, slowing down the transfer of knowledge and zaps the energy from the participants. The delivery of the important information struggles to be shared, meanwhile the meeting investment slides downward.

The primary consumers of wasted time at meetings are poor planning,  starting late, transitioning, announcements and lack of time management. These will be addressed and solutions will be delivered. The types of meetings addressed are the 30-200 person routine meetings.

Think about how many times these meetings scenarios happen. Roger in accounting forgets it is his turn to explain the new process, so his co-workers wait for him as he pulls his notes together and eventually gets to the front of the room. The manager starts with the quarterly sales figures, but then spins out of control talking about his grandchild Joy. At association meetings announcements add up to 7, 11, 13 minutes– make them stop. At departmental meeting reporting updates, while important, promotes sleeping. People arrive late, in turn the meeting begins late and rest of the schedule will be behind causing problems.

Common problems prevent great meetings. We will demonstrate how to reduce timewasters and share streamlined solutions. Because the possible language barriers and cultural differences, this session will be experiential and active to ensure we communicate through more than mere words. Participants will walk away with knowledge to implement immediately.
